IEN provides consultancy across all areas, including vocational and professional education, supporting governments, institutions, and international organisations such as the World Bank, ADB, UNESCO, and the Government of India. Its services include conducting surveys on educational and manpower needs, preparing feasibility and project reports, and advising on facilities, equipment, faculty, and staffing for institutions. IEN also develops curricula, teaching aids, evaluation systems, technologies, and resource centres. Additionally, it undertakes research on educational challenges, devises management structures, and publishes teaching materials, books, and guides for institutions.
