IEN has access to a network of professional consultants across India and internationally with whom it works and from whom it is able to seek additional advice as might be needed. These consultants include:
Mr John Kerr: An accomplished legal professional, John Kerr is an International education consultant and former Chief Executive of Edexcel and CEO of Edge. He has managed several education academies and is an accomplished administrator. He is Chair of ITEC, director of several trusts, including Bullwell Academy Trust, Milton Keynes Academy Trust and Madeley Academy Trust.
Dr Neil Kemp OBE: Visiting research fellow at the University of London and an international education consultant with special interests and publications related to institutional internationalisation strategies, international student mobility and transnational education. He has advised many clients, both public and private sector, including national governments, universities and colleges. He is currently a board member of the Open University Worldwide and the Council for Education in the Commonwealth. He has lived and worked in India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Pakistan and was previously Head Education UK at the British Council.
Peter Mackenzie Smith: Managing Director of Prothero Ltd and Director of Getenergy Ltd and a specialist for the development of business and education links, including in relation to the energy industries. He is also a Board Member of Bell Education Trust. Previous appointments have included as Director of Education at Marconi plc, Education Export Promoter at UK Trade and Investment, Deputy Director of British Training international as well as British Council Director for Africa and South Asia.
Dr Kamlesh Mishra: Provost and Founder Vice Chancellor Aoro, University, Surat and a pioneer in leading development of education institutions that have partnered with international institutions in delivery of foreign qualifications in India. He served as the Director of the Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi, was the founding Director of Institute for International Management & Technology. He was Director of G D Goenka World Institute, Gurgaon. Prof. Misra has rich experience in institutions building and has been a consultant to a number of educational institutions in India and abroad. He is known for his approach to quality in higher education and for putting systems and processes to serve the larger education community of students and teachers. He is credited with successfully running the first fully delivered foreign degree program in India. He has to his credit the establishment of three of the most successful foreign university (Bradford University, Oxford Brookes University & Lancaster University) collaborations in India.
